About Essentials of Healing Massage
Essentials of Healing Massage is based on the belief that the customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Jyl Kolness, a Nationally and North Dakota Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner, is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of her business is from repeat customers and referrals.

A Little About Me
I received my education for massage therapy through Sister Rosalind Gefre's Schools and Clinics of Massage in Fargo, ND. While attending Sister Rosalind's, I opened my first massage office on July 23, 2007 in Hendrum, MN where I reside. Upon graduation in March 2008, I continued to run my own massage business while also working as a professional massage therapist at Sister Rosalind's for 1 year. After leaving Sister Rosalind's, I opened up a downtown Fargo office on Broadway and continued to operate my Hendrum site. In February of 2010, a golden opportunity came about. I closed up my downtown Fargo site and accepted this new adventure. I currently work as an Independent Contractor Massage Therapist for Dr. Jake Grinaker at STRIVE CHIROPRACTIC in Fargo and take evening and weekend appointments at my office in Hendrum.
While attending massage school, I began pursuing my Reiki education through Barbara MacKay Simmonds, a Reiki Master Teacher in St. Paul, MN. I have received 3 attunements from Levels 1 & 2 and Advanced Reiki. I currently hold the title of Reiki Practitioner. Reiki treatments can be done at both Strive and Hendrum locations.
